Unity in Compassion - 4 Days Until Launch
Founder’s Reflections #4:
Wednesday, November 6, 2024 | Jesus24365 Ministry
🌅 Good Morning, Dear Friends in Christ,
Today, on the day after Election Day in our great country, my heart is especially moved as I reflect on Psalm 41 and its call to compassion. Election seasons bring both celebration and disappointment, and this morning, I am praying for unity, empathy, and understanding among all of us. In moments like these, I ask myself: What Would Jesus Do?
I am reminded that each of us is on a journey, a path that God shapes and strengthens with both trials and blessings. In these moments, Christ calls us to be His hands and feet, reaching out with love to those who may feel discouraged. We are all made in God’s image, precious and beloved in His eyes, and I am also drawn to the words of Martin Luther King Jr.:
“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”
Though the road may feel steep at times, we walk it with faith, knowing that God’s love and justice guide us. In each step, we have the opportunity to grow in compassion and grace.
🌱 A Journey of Compassion and Unity
In this season, I feel God calling us to step forward in compassion, reaching out to those who feel the weight of loss. We’re not here to boast in temporary victories or deepen divisions; instead, we are here to walk as Jesus would, with kindness and humility. Every step of our journey calls us to move from self-focus to service, from pride to compassion. Each person we encounter is a reflection of God, and in every interaction, we have the chance to honor Christ’s love.
Let’s remember that each word we speak, each action we take is part of a greater story—a story shaped by faith and love. What would Jesus do? He would reach out, listen, lift up, and show grace. May we do the same.
📖 Finding Light in Scripture
This morning’s study led me to two passages that guide this journey of compassion. In Psalm 41, I am reminded to “have regard for the weak” and to bless those who feel burdened. And in Proverbs 6, we are reminded of the light God gives us:
“For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life.” (Proverbs 6:23)
These verses encourage us to live as salt and light, even in challenging times. God’s Word lights our path, helping us to see others as He sees them. As we move forward, we can ask ourselves, What Would Jesus Do? He would love deeply, forgive freely, and bring peace. When we walk in His steps, we help transform not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.
⏳ Counting Down to Launch Day
With only four days left until Jesus24365.org goes live, I am reminded of the powerful tools God has given us to share His Word. Today, I’ll be learning new ways to spread the Good News across all six social media platforms, reaching those who may need encouragement, faith, or simply a reminder of God’s love. This technology is a blessing that enables us to reach hearts we may never meet in person, extending God’s love far and wide.
Our goal is not just to launch a website—it’s to bring people together in faith, to lift one another up, and to grow God’s Kingdom, Every Moment, Every Day, through the victory we have in Christ.
🙏 A Prayer for Unity and Compassion
As we prepare for the journey ahead, my prayer is that we remain humble, empathetic, and focused on Christ. May we walk forward with hearts that seek to bless others, finding ways to uplift those who feel disconnected or discouraged. This journey we’re on is one of transformation and purpose—a calling to be God’s hands and feet, bringing peace and compassion wherever it is needed.
Thank you for joining me in this journey with Jesus24365 Ministry. May the Lord guide us all as we seek to grow His Kingdom and live out His love, Every Moment, Every Day.
For His Kingdom,
Jeff ❤️
