🌱 Week 1 Report – Laying the First Stones

The vision of Godly Homes, Safe Blocks has moved from concept to calling. The first week was not about speed—but Spirit-led steps, planted in prayer and purpose. What began with a gathering is now forming into a foundation. A revival has begun.

💬 Spirit-Led Conversations & Role Discernment

Since our May 15 gathering, seven leaders have received invitations to 30-minute Google Meet calls. Two initially responded, but had to reschedule. We trust God’s timing as others continue to discern.

Each meeting is a sacred space structured around:

• Opening Prayer

• Spirit Stirring – What has God revealed since the gathering?

• Honest Reflection – Naming the cultural and spiritual barriers

• Strengths to Leverage – What gifts are already in place?

• Role Discernment – Who may be called?

📄 12 Vision Roles – Is God Calling You or Someone You Know?

The GHSB Vision Roles document outlines 12 mission-critical, spiritually grounded positions. These aren’t jobs—they’re Kingdom callings. And we’re actively listening for who God is raising up.

Here are the roles:

1. Discipleship Framework Director

2. Fundraising Strategist – Builds the Donor Pathway

3. Marketing & Messaging Coordinator

4. Neighborhood Acquisition & Lot Strategy Lead

5. Family Selection & Training Leader

6. Clubhouse Systems & Mentor Coordinator

7. Neighborhood Discipleship & Evangelism Lead

8. Boarder Recruitment & Teacher Pipeline Coordinator

9. Property Management Director

10. Lighthouse Construction Manager

11. Financial Oversight & Endowment Strategist

12. Prayer & Intercession Director

🛠️ Welcoming Sophia Knapp – A Revival Architect in the Making

This week, we welcomed our first intern:

Sophia Knapp – a 4.0 student, a member of St. Marcus, a young woman of deep faith, and recently accepted into the prestigious Interior Design Architecture program at UW–Madison.

Sophia’s task:

• Design a 3-story residence for a missionary family and young Christian women

• Create a basement discipleship clubhouse

• Develop a rooftop worship space with BBQ, prayer zones, and garden option

• Ensure every design choice reflects the heart of Jesus

Every decision asks: “What would Jesus do here—Every Moment, Every Day?”

🙏 Seeking a Mentor for Sophia

Sophia will not walk alone. We are actively praying for a faith-filled female architect or designer to mentor her this summer. One strong candidate, K.F., is being prayerfully considered.
