Founder's Reflections #27 | Grace in Action | Jesus24365 Ministry

Dear Beloved Jesus24365 Ministry Family,

How often do we pause to recognize the quiet, unmerited gift of grace that carries us through life’s joys and challenges? Grace—abundant, transformative, and freely given—is God’s provision for every step of our journey. It is through grace that we are saved, sustained, and sanctified, shaping us to reflect the image of Christ. This week, as we reflect on the role of grace in spiritual growth and sanctification, we are reminded that it is not by human effort alone but by God’s grace working through us that we are transformed.

Sanctification—the process of becoming more like Christ—is both a position, as we are declared holy, and a progression, as we are made holy. This journey is a testimony to God’s grace continually at work within us. As Paul declares in 2 Corinthians 3:18, “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” Grace is the fuel that empowers us to overcome sin, endure trials, and grow in holiness.

Key Verse of the Week: Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

This verse is a reminder that our strength to grow, serve, and reflect Christ does not come from ourselves but from the grace of God working within us. It is God’s grace that equips us for the journey, enabling us to face challenges with confidence, purpose, and joy.

Grace in Spiritual Growth

C.S. Lewis once wrote, “The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us.” This profound truth underscores the transformative power of grace. It is grace that brings salvation, teaches us to renounce ungodliness, and guides us to live in alignment with God’s will. As Titus 2:11-12 affirms, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives.”

Growth in grace is not passive. It requires both divine empowerment and our active participation. Through prayer, Scripture, worship, and service, we open our hearts to God’s transforming power. These practices are not a means to earn grace but a way to receive and respond to it. Each time we turn to God, we are reminded that His grace is sufficient, even in our weakest moments.

Reflecting Christ in Daily Life

You are on a divine journey. Like every hero, you will face trials, but with God’s grace, you are destined for victory. Reflecting Christ’s character in daily life is only possible because of grace. Every act of forgiveness, every step of faith, every moment of surrender is an opportunity for God’s grace to shine through us. As Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

When the world challenges us, our sinful nature tempts us, or spiritual opposition arises, grace equips us to persevere. It is in those moments of dependence on God that His strength becomes most evident. As we reflect Christ’s character to a world in need, we become living testimonies of His glory, pointing others to the transformative power of grace.
