Leading with Grace and Truth
Founder's Reflections #14
Saturday, November 16, 2024 | Jesus24365 Ministry

Good Afternoon, dear friends in Christ ✨🙏
This morning, as I studied Proverbs 16, I was reminded of the profound wisdom it holds for all of us, especially for those called to lead. 🌿 Each verse speaks to the heart of Christian leadership—aligning our plans with God’s will, leading with humility, and entrusting our work to His hands. 🙏💖 Today, I am thrilled to share these powerful lessons and the incredible insights from believers within our Jesus24365 community on what it means to be a Christian leader. Their words are full of love, grace, and the fire of the Holy Spirit 🔥, and I know they will inspire you as they have inspired me.

In these reflections, you will find the wisdom of Proverbs 📖, the guidance of our Savior ✝️, and the voices of our fellow believers who have experienced the power of leading like Jesus. Together, we can learn what it means to lead with both grace and truth, to serve others as Jesus served, and to inspire those around us to grow in faith. Let's embrace this journey of leadership, guided by His truth and love, and strive to make an impact for God's Kingdom. May God's blessings overflow in your life today, and may you always feel His love guiding you forward. 💞

Leading with Grace and Truth ✨
Today, I want to reflect on what it means to lead with grace and truth as Jesus did. ✨ Leadership is not just about titles or influence; it is about serving others 🤲, uplifting them 💪, and helping spread the Good News. 📢
"Christian leadership begins with great confidence and boldness in the promises of God and embodying those promises with an equivalent proportion of humility and thanksgiving." - Daniel Schroeder
Jesus led with compassion,❤️ always meeting people where they were but guiding them towards a higher purpose. He showed us that true leadership doesn’t shy away from truth, nor does it lack empathy and grace. This is a call to all of us—to lead in our homes, our communities, and wherever God has placed us, with grace and truth.
John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
This verse reminds us that Jesus, our ultimate role model, is full of both grace and truth. To lead like Him means to embrace these qualities—to speak honestly but always with love, to hold strong convictions but extend compassion at every turn. The entire book of Proverbs is a guide for those willing to understand this truth, especially in leadership. With 31 chapters, it's structured perfectly to read one chapter a day for a month. What a profound way to gain wisdom daily!
Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."
Leadership requires us to be deeply rooted in God’s will. We don’t lead on our own strength or ambition—we lead with faith, entrusting our goals and plans to God.
Trusting God with Our Plans 🙏
"True Christian leaders commit their ways to the Lord, trusting in His providence, allowing Him to direct their paths. Christian leadership means servant leaders. As our example, Christ came to serve others as we should. The amazing Christian leaders that have had the most impact are those who get in the trenches and work/serve along those they are leading." - J.L.R.
This is why it is essential that we pray for discernment before every decision 🙏, seeking alignment with God’s purpose.
When we follow Jesus' example and lead with grace and truth, we not only reflect His character but also help build God's Kingdom here on earth. WWJD?

Jesus would lead with compassion and integrity. "A Christian leader sees the inherent value of every individual they lead whether or not they are Christian. We were all made in the image of God. No human can be a perfect leader; however, as Christians, the biggest comfort is that we have Jesus as a perfect leader to look to." - Liz
He would serve alongside those He led and share in their burdens, always pointing them to God’s higher purpose. This is the kind of leadership that transforms families, communities, and even nations.🌍
Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."
The Power of Humility in Leadership 🤲
"Humility is critical in leadership.🤲 A strong Christian leader is receptive to correction from others, lovingly corrects others when needed, strives to live out the fruits of the spirit, and is in the Word regularly." - Jenny B.
C.S. Lewis once wrote, “A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.” As leaders, we must always look up—to God, who is the source of our strength, wisdom, and grace. A humble leader sets an example that inspires trust and invites others to follow, not out of fear, but out of shared love and respect.
Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
This verse is a prayer that should be at the heart of every leader. We need God to continually renew us, purify our hearts, and guide us in His ways. ✨💖
"A strong Christian leader shows their community how Jesus would lead by setting a good example" - Pat M.
True change, true leadership, begins within—with a transformed heart, renewed by God’s love.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, "Only he who believes is obedient, and only he who is obedient believes." Christian leadership is about obedience to God’s call—it’s about trusting Him with everything and leading others in that same spirit of trust.
Reflecting on Today's Lessons 🔥
"A good Christian leader must be so full of the fire of The Holy Spirit that the fire will spread to others. They must lead by Christ's example to inspire others to want to follow Christ. Lead by serving others and others will want to serve too. Then by God's grace - we watch the Christian Church explode. Pray continuously for others, serve others continuously, and inspire others to follow Christ. That is Christian leadership." - Sarah O.
Align Your Goals with God's Will: Begin every project, every decision, by committing it to God in prayer. It is only through His guidance that we can lead effectively.
Lead with Humility: Humility allows us to grow, to learn, and to inspire those we lead. Reflect on the moments when pride may have taken over, and ask God for the grace to lead with humility.
Serve as Jesus Did: Leadership in Christ means being willing to serve, to get in the trenches, and to love others as Jesus loved us.
"You cannot lead without following the True Leader. Prayer is the most important tool we have. Good Christian leadership uses it constantly." - Vicki Provenchor
Actions to Take 💪
Commit Your Plans to God: Before taking any major steps, pause and pray. Ask God to guide your thoughts, intentions, and actions.
Practice Daily Humility: Reflect on the day’s events and consider where you may need to let go of pride. Seek God’s help in cultivating a spirit of humility.
Serve with a Full Heart: Find an opportunity today to serve someone in need—whether it’s lending a listening ear, helping a neighbor, or supporting someone in prayer. Be Christ’s hands and feet.
Questions to Ponder 💭
Where do I need to allow God’s grace to shape my leadership style?
How can I better lead with both truth and compassion in my family and community?
Am I seeking recognition, or am I seeking to glorify God in my leadership?
As we continue to journey together, may we lead with grace and truth, just as our Savior does. May our hearts be full of compassion, ❤️ our minds grounded in His wisdom 📖, and our actions always reflect His love. 🤲

For His Kingdom,
Jeff ❤️
