Stepping Back to Let God Lead — A Season of Sacred Listening and Trust

An Impressionist-style painting of a quiet mountain trail at sunrise, radiating peaceful surrender and spiritual pause. The winding path is flanked by golden grasses and soft wildflowers, leading the eye toward distant purple-blue mountains under a glowing morning sky. The light breaks through with gentle brilliance, symbolizing divine presence and a season of sacred listening. Centered text reads: “Founder’s Reflections #34 – A Sacred Pause: Entrusting All to the Savior – Jesus24365 Weekly #72,” in elegant serif font. The image evokes trust, stillness, and surrender to God’s direction. This artwork is part of the Jesus24365 Ministry series led by Jeff Neubauer, Founder of Jesus24365 Ministry (since 2024) and Member of St. Marcus Lutheran Church (since 2023), reflecting the ministry’s mission to glorify God every moment, every day. A Sacred Pause – Entrusting All to the Savior

Jesus24365 Ministry | A Message from Jeff

Dear Beloved Jesus24365 Ministry Family,

There’s a quiet truth the Lord has been impressing on my heart:

You can’t save the world, dear one. You can’t even carry it.

But you can release it to the only One who can. This is the heart of benevolent detachment—a sacred act of trust, not abandonment. It is, as Augustine said, a way to “empty ourselves of all that fills us, so that we may be filled with what we are empty of.” We do this not in anger or apathy, but in love and faith.

Much of what I’m sharing today was inspired by John Eldredge’s Wild at Heart Pause app—a daily moment of stillness that has helped me rediscover the deep strength that comes from surrender. Through his guided reflections, God reminded me: letting go isn’t weakness. It’s worship. It’s making space for Him to move.

So for a brief while, I am stepping back from our newsletter and regular postings. I’m laying it all down—not because the fire has dimmed, but because I want to hear God's whisper more clearly. I’m asking Him to realign the direction of Jesus24365 Ministry. Where is He calling us next? What message does He want spoken?

I trust He will answer—and when He does, we’ll move forward together.

Until then, please remember:

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:7, TLB)

He is always thinking of you. He watches over everything that concerns you.

Let’s trust Him with everything—and everyone.

🕊️ Prayer: Everything and Everyone – Benevolent Detachment

Lord Jesus,

I release everything and everyone to You.

Not in fear, not in frustration—but in faith.

You alone are Savior.

You alone are Shepherd.

You alone are enough.

I surrender what I cannot carry—

with love, with trust, with open hands.

Fill me with what I am empty of.

Lead me where You will.

I am Yours.

Amen.

Still planting, still trusting,

For His Kingdom and Milwaukee’s Revival,

Jeff in Christ ✝️❤️

Excellent post. Pausing to listen, powerful. Jesus went to quiet places often to hear from his father. We should too.
