Lily’s Journey: "The Wonder of Dew Drops"

✉️ Finding God’s Goodness in the Smallest Gifts

☀️ The Morning Lily Discovered God’s "Good Morning"

One summer morning, Lily woke up earlier than usual and tiptoed outside while the world was still quiet. The grass felt cool beneath her bare feet, and as she looked down, she gasped in delight. Tiny droplets of water clung to each blade of grass, sparkling in the early light. She knelt, watching them shimmer.

🗨️ "Dew drops are God's way of saying, ‘Good morning!’"

Excited, she ran back inside, waking her mom. "Come quick! God left us a morning present!" She pulled her outside and pointed to the dew-covered grass. "Look! It’s like little diamonds from Heaven!"

Her mom smiled, brushing back Lily’s hair. "That’s called dew, sweetheart."

Lily shook her head, giggling. "No, it’s called God’s way of saying ‘Good morning!’"

That morning, Lily learned a truth many overlook—God’s love is often found in the smallest moments.

Lily crouched close to the earth, eyes wide with awe.

The sun had barely risen, and the grass sparkled with tiny dewdrops—God’s morning masterpiece. She leaned in, watching how the light turned them into tiny diamonds.

She grinned, tracing a finger near the fragile beads of water without disturbing them.

"It’s like He leaves little hellos just for us!" she giggled, looking up at the sky.

Her friend, yawning from sleepiness, blinked at the shimmering grass. "I never noticed them before…"

Lily beamed. "You have to look! God’s gifts are everywhere!"

💭 Lily’s Thought: "Sometimes God’s love is big like the sky, but sometimes it’s small—like dewdrops on the grass."

📖 Bible Study: The Beauty of Small Wonders

Lily reminds us that God speaks in grand miracles and tiny moments alike. His goodness is always present—we just have to pause and see it.

1️⃣ God’s Glory in Creation

📖 Psalm 65:8 – "The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, you call forth songs of joy."

Every sunrise, every droplet of dew, every whisper of wind sings His praises.

👀 Reflection: When was the last time you stopped to appreciate the beauty God placed around you?

💭 Lily’s Thought: "God paints the world fresh every morning, just to remind us He’s here!"

2️⃣ Noticing His Everyday Love

📖 Lamentations 3:22-23 – "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Just like the dew returns every morning, so does God’s mercy.

👀 Reflection: What’s a small, everyday reminder of God’s love in your life?

💭 Lily’s Thought: "Every time the sun comes up, it’s like God is saying, ‘Let’s try again!’"

3️⃣ Seeing the Kingdom Through Childlike Eyes

📖 Matthew 6:28-29 – "Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."

God’s attention to the smallest details—flowers, birds, dewdrops—reminds us He cares deeply for us.

👀 Reflection: Are you looking at life with eyes of wonder, or have you become too busy to notice His presence?

💭 Lily’s Thought: "If God takes care of the tiniest things, then He’s definitely taking care of me!"

🔥 The Day Lily Saw a Butterfly Pray

Later that same week, Lily sat by a flower bed, watching a tiny butterfly land on a daisy. It paused, wings opening and closing in slow motion, completely still except for the gentle movement. Lily whispered, "It looks like it's praying!"

She folded her hands, mimicking the butterfly. "Jesus, if butterflies can stop to be still, I guess I should too. Thank You for tiny things that remind me to pause and just see You."

That day, Lily discovered something powerful: faith doesn’t always look like action. Sometimes, it looks like stopping long enough to notice.

Faith isn’t just about seeing God in the big moments—it’s about finding Him in the small, everyday gifts of grace.
