Grace That Blooms Through Seasons: How Faith, Wisdom, and Enduring Love Flourish with Time

Glimpses of Grace #21

Pastor Samuel #3 – The Test of Time

📅 Jesus24365 Weekly 49 | Wednesday, April 2, 2025

✍ Written by Jeff Neubauer, Founder of Jesus24365 Ministry

A young man stands confidently by a serene mountain lake, arms raised in a posture of praise and peace. Behind him, pine trees stretch toward the sky and a golden light casts across the hills and water, reflecting the tranquility of God's creation. The words “CHRIST STRENGTH! PRAISING GOD” appear boldly in the sky above, symbolizing a powerful declaration of faith. He wears a simple dark button-down shirt and jeans, embodying a modern believer grounded in truth. His smile radiates joy, strength, and surrender—anchored in Jesus. The entire scene conveys a moment of stillness and spiritual connection, inviting viewers to find strength in Christ through worship and awe.
🌲 Inspired by Philippians 4:13 – "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

💌 A Note of Gratitude

Dear Jesus24365 Family,

Thank you for joining us in this rhythm of grace, story by story. Today, we reconnect with Pastor Samuel—a shepherd with decades of faith under his feet. His voice is slower, steadier now, but it still carries the weight of wisdom, patience, and a deep-rooted love for God.

🌿 Rooted in Grace: The Test of Time

Samuel doesn’t preach with flash. He plants seeds. Over the years, he’s buried loved ones, baptized great-grandchildren, and still walks the garden path every morning, cane in hand, whispering prayers as old as the hymns he hums.

🙏 Pastor Samuel’s Journey from Anger to Grace

What most don’t see in Pastor Samuel’s calm presence is the fire he once battled within. In his youth, anger flared easily—especially when life felt unfair. But Jesus met him not with condemnation, but with compassion. Through decades of Scripture, mentorship, and prayer, that anger was refined into passion for the Gospel. Now, with every sermon and every step through his garden, Samuel testifies to a slow and steady transformation. Grace didn’t erase his past—it redeemed it, turning a once-reactive spirit into one that nurtures, listens, and leads with the love of Christ.

This week’s comic—“The Test of Time”—shows us that God’s grace doesn’t fade.

In the peaceful garden, as birds chirp and flowers bloom, Pastor Samuel reflects:

“God’s grace is like these blooms—ever faithful through all seasons.”

Faith that endures isn’t loud—it’s lived. And Samuel shows us how: one step, one prayer, one season at a time.

📖 Bible Study #1: Lamentations 3:22–23

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

💬 Samuel’s Reflection:

"The blooms return, year after year. So does His mercy. So will my praise."

👀 Consider This:

  • What reminders of God's faithfulness are blooming in your life right now?

  • What might shift if you welcomed each morning with new expectation?

📖 Bible Study #2: Psalm 92:12–14

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree… They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green…”

💬 Samuel’s Reflection:

"I may slow down, but grace still grows in me."

👀 Consider This:

  • Are you measuring your faith by speed—or by fruit?

  • Who in your life is flourishing quietly that you could learn from?

📖 Bible Study #3: Galatians 6:9

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

💬 Samuel’s Reflection:

"Some harvests take years. But grace? It’s always working beneath the soil."

👀 Consider This:

  • What good are you being called to keep doing—despite delay or doubt?

  • How might you water someone else's faith this week?
