🔬 Science, Struggle, and the Savior: Dr. Z’s Quiet Revolution
Years ago, before Christ transformed his worldview, Dr. Zachery was a legend in academic circles but a ghost in the lives of his students.
He cared about precision, not people. When a struggling student named Eli couldn’t grasp a quantum mechanics formula and broke down in tears during office hours, the old
Dr. Z responded with one sentence:
“Science doesn’t wait for feelings. Either learn it or leave.”
Eli dropped the course.
But that moment haunted Dr. Z.
After coming to Christ through months of searching and surrender, something in him unraveled—and rewired. He no longer saw equations as weapons to wield, but as windows into God’s mind.
So when a new student, Mia, approached him recently with the same overwhelmed look, trembling over her test results, Dr. Z didn’t quote math. He quoted John 3:16:
“Mia, you are not a formula to solve. You’re a masterpiece to be loved.”
