“Go and Proclaim”

From every shore and distant land,

We go, empowered by His hand.

Proclaim His truth, His love, His name,

For all the earth to know the same.

Dear Beloved Jesus24365 Family,

Today, we come to a pivotal moment in our six-week journey, Finding Strength in Psalms. Whether you’ve walked closely with Christ for years or are thoughtfully seeking Him for the first time, this study has been an invitation to experience God’s power, peace, and purpose through His Word. Each Psalm has revealed the unshakable foundation we have in Him. Now, as we step into this final week, we explore how God calls us to extend that strength to others.

The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 is not just a directive; it’s an invitation to join the greatest mission in history. As we reflect on four Psalms connected to this verse, we’ll see God’s sovereignty over the nations, the call to declare His glory, the blessings that equip us for His work, and the joy that draws people into worship. These truths remind us that we are part of a divine adventure, sent into the world with His authority, love, and grace.

Next week, we begin a new chapter with Proverbs for Daily Living. For six weeks, we’ll explore how the wisdom of Proverbs equips us to navigate life’s challenges with purpose, faith, and discernment. But first, let’s embrace the call of the Great Commission and discover the transformative power of sharing His light with the world.

Key Verse of the Week

Matthew 28:19 (NIV):"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

A powerful visual representation of the Great Commission unfolds in this dynamic image. At the center, a single ripple from a baptism spreads outward into vibrant scenes of discipleship, worship, and unity among diverse nations. The text 'Go and make disciples of all nations – Matthew 28:19' anchors the message, urging believers to take bold action for Christ. Four Psalms Connected to the Great Commission

Psalm 72:8-11 – Christ’s Reign Inspires Our Mission

Reflection: “May he rule from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.” Psalm 72 paints a majestic picture of Christ’s universal reign. This Psalm reminds us that the mission to make disciples is not rooted in human effort but in the authority of our King. His dominion spans every land and people, assuring us that no culture, nation, or person is beyond His reach.

A comic-style image in vibrant Lichtenstein fashion features a golden crown at the center of a colorful world map. Radiant beams of light extend outward, symbolizing Christ's universal reign. Surrounding the crown are vivid national symbols, representing the global nature of His authority. The composition reflects the unshakable truth of Psalm 72:8-11: Christ rules over all. | Jesus24365 Ministry

Connection to Matthew 28:19:When Jesus commissioned His disciples, He began with the words, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” This echoes the truth of Psalm 72—that Christ’s reign is absolute. This knowledge gives us confidence to step into His mission, knowing we are backed by the King of Kings who rules the universe.

Psalm 96:3-4 – Declaring God’s Glory to the Nations

Reflection: Psalm 96 calls us to, “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” This is more than a command—it’s a privilege. Like a lighthouse piercing the darkest storm, we are called to shine the light of Christ’s glory, guiding others toward the safety of His love. By sharing His marvelous deeds, we make His salvation known to the world.

A dramatic Lichtenstein-style comic shows a towering lighthouse, its brilliant beam cutting through swirling storm clouds. Waves inscribed with God’s names in diverse languages crash against the rocky shore below. The beam forms a glowing cross in the sky, symbolizing the call to declare His glory to all nations as described in Psalm 96:3-4. | Jesus24365 Ministry

Connection to Matthew 28:19:The Great Commission fulfills this call to proclaim God’s glory among the nations. As we baptize and teach, we declare His marvelous deeds and invite others into a relationship with Him. Psalm 96 inspires us to see evangelism not as an obligation, but as an act of worship that reflects God’s glory.

Psalm 67:1-2 – Blessings Equip Us for Mission

Reflection: “May God bless us and make his face shine on us—so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.” This Psalm reminds us that every blessing we receive—our resources, talents, and opportunities—is given with a purpose. We are blessed to be a blessing, equipped to extend His grace to others and share His message of salvation.

A colorful comic-style illustration in Lichtenstein fashion depicts a radiant field of blooming flowers stretching toward a glowing cross on the horizon. The flowers emit golden light, symbolizing God’s blessings, while the path transitions from darkness to brightness. This reflects the Psalmist's call in Psalm 67:1-2 to share God’s blessings so His salvation may be known. | Jesus24365 Ministry

Connection to Matthew 28:19:The Great Commission is sustained by God’s blessings. Just as Psalm 67 teaches, our blessings are tools to accomplish His mission. Whether through financial resources, spiritual gifts, or acts of service, we are empowered to make disciples and spread His name to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 100:1-2 – Joyful Worship Draws People to God

Reflection: “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” Psalm 100 reminds us that worship is contagious. When we live lives filled with joy and gratitude, others are drawn to the source of that joy—Jesus Christ. Worship is both a testimony and an invitation for others to experience the transforming power of God’s presence.

A comic-style scene in the Lichtenstein aesthetic portrays a vibrant, diverse crowd gathered in a sunlit meadow. With hands raised high in worship, the crowd is illuminated by radiant sunbeams breaking through stormy clouds. Joy and unity shine on every face, symbolizing the global invitation to worship described in Psalm 100:1-2. | Jesus24365 Ministry
Joyful Worship Unites the Nations | Jesus24365 Ministry

Connection to Matthew 28:19:The Great Commission invites all people to worship the Lord with gladness. As we go and make disciples, we extend this invitation to the nations, drawing them into the joy of knowing and praising God. Psalm 100 reminds us that worship is not only the result of evangelism but also its greatest motivator.

Weekly Anthem

“Are You Washed in the Blood” by Alan Jackson from Precious Moments. This hymn beautifully reflects the heart of the Great Commission, asking, “Have you been washed in the blood of the Lamb?” It challenges listeners to consider their relationship with Christ and invites them into His saving grace. The joyful and reverent tone of the song reminds us that sharing the Gospel is a celebration of the salvation available to all through Jesus.

Why This Song Connects: The Great Commission is a call to invite others into the redemptive work of Christ. This hymn captures both the urgency and the joy of that mission, encouraging us to go into the world with the message of salvation and love.

Call to Action
