Turning Tears into Prayer: Zoe’s Journey of Journaling with Jesus
✍️ Glimpses of Grace #18 | Zoe #3 - Writing it Down
Wednesday, March 26, 2025 | Jesus24365 Ministry

Dear Jesus24365 Family,
Thank you for being part of this growing community of faith. It’s a joy to walk through these Glimpses of Grace with you each week! Today, we’re joining Zoe—our deep-thinking, music-loving twenty-something—as she shares how writing with God in mind transforms confusion into clarity and pain into prayer.
Zoe wasn’t always grounded in faith. She used to call herself a “rebel with a restless heart,” chasing answers in all the wrong places. But everything changed when she met Jesus. Her rebellion turned to redemption, and she began to see her struggles through the lens of His love. Now, her pen is a tool for healing—a way to process the chaos and invite God into the mess. Her story has become a testimony of grace.
Under golden leaves, in her favorite jean jacket, Zoe journals by the tree near her apartment complex. Her words are raw, honest, and real. And they always find their way back to God. Because for Zoe, journaling isn’t just an outlet—it’s a doorway to grace.
Let’s explore what her quiet moments can teach us.
📖 Bible Study 1: Psalm 77:11-12
“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” (Psalm 77:11–12)
💬 Zoe’s Reflection:
"When I write down what God has done, even my tears start to make sense."
👀 Consider This:
What story of God’s faithfulness do you need to remember today?
Could journaling become your way of “meditating on His mighty deeds”?
📖 Bible Study 2: Habakkuk 2:2-3
“Then the Lord replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time…’” (Habakkuk 2:2–3)
💬 Zoe’s Reflection:
"I used to write like no one would ever read it. Now I write like someone might meet Jesus in it."
👀 Consider This:
What has God shown you lately that you haven’t written down?
Who might need to read the words you’re afraid to share?
📖 Bible Study 3: 2 Corinthians 3:2-3
“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone… not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God.” (2 Corinthians 3:2–3)
💬 Zoe’s Reflection:
"My life is a letter. And Jesus is the author who never stops editing with grace."
👀 Consider This:
If someone ‘read’ your life today, what would it reveal about Jesus?
How can you let God write His story through your struggles?
